Jennifer Crank is the owner and founder of IncrediPAWS Dog Training in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Jenn began training and showing dogs at the age of five. At seven, she earned her first agility title with the family Sheltie. In 1993 Jenn got her first Sheltie, Skittles, and earned her first MACH.
Since that time, Jenn’s dedicated partnerships with her dogs have taken her to the highest levels of competition. With her Sheltie, Guess, she represented the USA at the FCI Agility World Championships three times, earning a individual silver medal in 2006 and individual bronze medal in 2007. With another talented Sheltie, Blaster, she helped bring home a team silver medal at the FCI World Agility Championships in 2009. Jenn and Blaster also won an individual gold medal at the inaugural World Agility Open. Recently, Jenn coached Team USA at the World Agility Open, where the team won the overall gold medal.
Jenn currently works with over 150 students monthly through classes, private lessons and seminars. She teaches 13 classes a week working with over one hundred students. Students come from across the area for private instruction including Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Pennsylvania. Her students’ accomplishments include: USDAA Regional Champions, AKC National Championship finalists, AKC Agility Invitational participants, finalist and champions, AKC World Team Tryout participants as well as top competitors at local AKC and USDAA trials. In addition to teaching at IncrediPAWS, Jenn has traveled across the USA, as well as Canada and Bermuda, teaching agility seminars.
Her experience as an agility competitor, seminar presenter, coach, and mentor give Jenn valuable insight that she uses to help her students reach their fullest potential. She provides information in a way that makes application of theory easy and allows students to understand the handling options they have to choose from. Jenn’s concise but clear explanations result in peak performances from her students.
Jenn has been training with her coach and mentor Linda Mecklenburg since 1999, and has been teaching agility since 2002. She uses the concepts presented in Developing Handling Skills as a basis for her instruction and training, and stays current on developments through regular private lessons, seminars, and camps.
